1 — add the workflow .github/workflows/mow.yml in your profile repo

2 — put the lawn in your readme above the fold, obviously

3 — run it once

go to the repo's actions tab, pick mow, hit run workflow. after that it re-mows itself every day.

lawn came out mostly dirt? the lawn shows your public contributions — if most of your commits are in private repos, turn on contribution settings → private contributions on your profile graph (a PAT won't do it — that toggle is the only lever github gives), run the workflow again, and give the image cache five minutes. details.
